About

Journalist. Author. Media Entrepreneur. Builder of Ideas that Shape Better Business

Benedict Paramanand is one of India’s pioneering voices at the intersection of business, sustainability, entrepreneurship, and literature. A former business journalist with The Economic Times, he has spent more than three decades identifying transformative ideas long before they become mainstream.

He is the Founder and Editor of SustainabilityNext, a leading Indian platform that amplifies practical, solutions-driven thinking on sustainable business, climate innovation, responsible leadership, and impact entrepreneurship. Since its launch in 2013, the publication has become a trusted platform for entrepreneurs, executives, investors, policymakers, and students seeking actionable insights rather than rhetoric.

Benedict is also the founder of BizLitFest (Business Literature Festival), India’s first festival dedicated to business books and ideas, and the Green Literature Festival, which uses the power of books and storytelling to inspire climate action and sustainability leadership. These platforms have brought together CEOs, entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, authors, academics, and thought leaders to create conversations that influence both business and society.

As an author, Benedict wrote C.K. Prahalad – Mind of the Futurist, one of the most insightful accounts of the legendary management thinker whose ideas transformed modern business strategy. He has interviewed and engaged with many of India’s most influential business leaders, helping decode complex ideas into practical wisdom for entrepreneurs and executives.

His work is driven by a simple belief: great ideas can build great businesses, and great businesses can build a better world. Through journalism, books, festivals, awards, and leadership dialogues, he continues to create platforms where innovation, entrepreneurship, literature, and sustainability converge.

Today, Benedict is building ecosystems that connect authors, founders, corporations, investors, educational institutions, and philanthropies around one shared purpose—to accelerate the ideas that will shape India’s next economy.
